Seminar on 'Coastal environment -Management Issues and Conversation Strategy' to be held on Saturday at Salumarada Timakka park near Sagar road of Bhatkal

Bhatkal 15 February 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) Uttara Kannada District Working Journalist Association in association with Vrakshalaksha Andolana Karnataka, Center for Policy Research, Karwar and District Agricultural Science Center will jointly organize a state level seminar on ‘Coastal Environment – Management Issues and Conversation Strategy’ on Saturday 16th Feb, morning 10:30 at Salumarada Timakka Park near Sagar road of Bhatkal. The main objective for conducting this seminar is for the people to realize the problems in the management issue of western ghat and the coastal region, damages caused due to the widening of National Highway and find out ways and means to reduce the damages in future, the organizers said. The organizers have also called on people to turn up in numbers for the seminar to create awareness about environment. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
