Security tightened in Bhatkal ahead of December 5 by-elections

Bhatkal 4 December 2019: As the Yellapur Assembly Constituency of the district will go for by-election poll on December 5, security has been tightened and the authorties are keeping a close watch on vehicles entering and exiting Bhatkal through vigilant checking of vehicles and its documents. In order to withhold the illegal smuggling of cash and alcohol, inspection for each vehicle have been initiated especially the vehicles from other districts and states are paid special attention.
