School toppers awarded 'Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi' and 'Ashraf Barmawar' awards at SIO Academic excellence awards

Bhatkal 17 September 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Students Islamic Organisation of India on Sunday organised its Academic Excellence Award 2018, at the Rabita Hall, where in topper students of several local schools were awarded for their performances in the SSLC examination during the academic year 2017-18. Life Coach and Motivational speaker Atiqur Rahman of Goa was present as the chief guest of the event which was presided over by SIO Karnataka State President Rafeeq Bidar. One student of all the local schools who topped their respective schools were awarded the Late Syed Ashraf Barmawar award, while students of Madrasas who topped their institution were awarded the Late Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi award during the event. Over 17 students were awarded the Ashraf Barmawar award while four students were awarded Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi award. SIO Bhatkal President SM Abud welcomed the guest and presented annual report of SIO Bhatkal unit, while IWS Secretary Qadir Meeran Patel and Moulana Abdul Aleem Khateeb introduced and spoke about the lives of Ashraf Barmawar and Moulana Abdul Bari Nadvi respectively. Families of both the prominent personalities of the community were also present in the event. Speaking at the event chief guest Atiqur Rahman had an interactive session with the parents and students and inspired students to always thrive for excellence in whatever field they choose. President of the event Rafeeque Bidar, urged parents to train their kids to be the future leaders as ultimately they are the future of the country. Vice President of Idara Tarbiat-e-Ikhwan Engineer Hafiz Nazeer, Moulana Abdul Ahad Fakerdey, Moulana Abdul Noor Fakerdey, SIO Bhatkal president SM Abud, Secretary Sanaullah Asadi, Ameer-e-Maqami Mujahid Mustafa and others were present on the diaz during the event.
