1. Incentive Scheme (UTTEJANA)

District Office of Backward Classes & Minorities (D.O.B.C.M) Offices in Every District of Karnataka

Who can apply?
1. Students of 1st & 2nd PUC, Degree & Post Graduation.
2. Annual Income: Less than Rs.2 Lakh.
3. Secured Pass Marks in Previous Years Exam.

Scholarship Amount
For 1st & 2nd PUC : Rs.3,000/- p.a.
For Degree Courses : Rs.4,000/- p.a
For Post Graduation : Rs.5,000/- p.a.

2. Pre-Matric Scholarship 2011-12
Implemented by
Directorate of Minorities, Bangalore

Who can apply ?
School Students - 1st standard to 10th standard
Annual Income : Less than Rs.1 Lakh
Atleast 50% in previous exam

Scholarship Amount
For Government School Rs.1000/- p.a.
For Private School Upto Rs.5000/- p.a.

3. Post-Matric Scholarship 2011-12
Implemented by
Directorate of Minorities, Bangalore

Who can apply?
Students of PUC, ITI, JOC, D.Ed, Diploma, D.Pharma, GNM, Degree, Post Graduation, M.Phil & Ph.d
Annual Income: Less than Rs.2 Lakh
Atleast 50% in Previous exam

Scholarship Amount
Upto Rs.3,500/- p.a.
Depends on the Course fee prescribed by Govt.

4. Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2011-12

Annual Income: Less than Rs.2.5 Lakh
Atleast 50% in Qualifying exam

Scholarship Amount
For Day Scholars Upto Rs.25,000/- p.a.
For Hostellers Upto Rs.30,000/- p.a.

5. National Overseas Scholarship 2011-12
Implemented by
Directorate of Minorities, Bangalore

Who can apply?
Students below 38 years who wish to pursue Masters, Ph.D & Post Ph.d in Prestigious Foreign Universities
Annual Income: Less than Rs.4 Lakh
Atleast 60% aggregate in degree.

Scholarship Amount
Rs.5 Lakh p.a. and Maximum of Rs.10 lakh for the entire course.

6. Pre-Examination Coaching for UPSC/KPSC
Implemented by
Directorate of Minorities, Bangalore

Who can apply?
Candidates who are eligible to appear for UPSC/KPSC Civil Service Exams
Annual Income: Less than Rs.2 lakh

Scholarship Amount
Upto Rs.1 lakh for Coaching Fee
Stipend of Rs.5,000/- or Rs.3,000/- per month

7. Wakf Professional Scholarship 2011-12
Implemented by
Karnataka Wakf Foundation for Women, Bangalore.

Who can apply?
Only Muslim Girls Students studying MBBS, BDS, BE, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS, MBA, MCA, BCA, BBM, B.Sc(Agri), B.Sc(Hort), B.VSc
Annual Income: Less than Rs.2.5 lakh

Scholarship Amount
For MBBS : Rs.25,000/- p.a.
For BDS : Rs.15,000/- p.a.
For B.E/BUMS/BAMS/MBA : Rs.10,000/- p.a.
For BCA/MCA : Rs.5,000/- p.a.

8. Moulana Azad Scholarship 2011-12

Who can apply?
Only Girls Students studying in 1st year PUC / 11th std.
Annual Income: Less than Rs.1 lakh
Minimum Marks in 10th std : 55%

Scholarship Amount
Total Rs.12,000/- is given in 2 Installments
Rs.6,000/- in 1st PUC
& Rs.6,000/- in 2nd PUC

9. "Arivu" Educational Loan

Students of Diploma, ITI, D.Ed, BBM, BCA, B.Pharma, B.Ed, B.VSc, BE, MBBS, BDS, BUMS, BAMS, LLB, MBA, MCA, B.Sc/M.Sc (Nursing, Agri, Paramedical), M.Ed, MSW, MBA, MCA, MBA, MD, etc..
Annual Income: Less than Rs. 1 Lakh

Scholarship Amount
For BE, MBBS, BDS & ISMH - As per CET norms
For other courses, Upto Rs.50,000/-, depending on course
