SC rejects Sri Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik plea seeking entry into Goa

The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed an appeal by Sri Ram Sene chief Pramod Muthalik against the Goa government’s decision to ban his entry into the state. A bench led by Chief Justice H L Dattu also censured Sri Ram Sene for moral policing and assaulting women in its name. “Why have you been doing moral policing? Is this what you want to do? You beat up women in the name of moral policing? The judges are justified in passing this order. It is for maintaining peace,” said the bench.
