SBI organise 'Meet with customer' to hear grievances in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 26 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) State Bank of India Bhatkal branch on Friday organised a 'Meet with customer' at its main branch of the town to hear the complaints and grievances of the customers while to also explain them about various facilities and schemes provided by the bank that can benefit customers. Balakrishna Bhat, Chief Manager of SBI Hubli division visited Bhatkal for the meeting and interacted with customers and took note of their complaints, grievances and feedback. Bhat, also explained several schemes and facilities provided by the bank that benefits the customers while also stressing upon the importance of availing insurance policies. Bhat, also enquired the customers about the behavior of the staffs and their etiquette during the office hours to which the customers voiced their satisfaction and added that they were happy with how they are treated at the bank. People complained that most of the staffs in the branch belong to the northern parts of the country which causes difficulties in communicating with them as some of the communities in town can only communicate in Kannada. Bhat, then stressed upon the need of encouraging our youth to take banking as their career options and added that the rate of Karnataka's youngsters in banking is very low and that is why people from northern states are deputed across the state. Bhatkal branch's NRI Manager Jitendra Kumar, and brach's chief manager Diwan Bahuguna were present during the meet. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
