Samiullah's second performance evokes more wah wahs

Muscat - 14 Sep 2011: Bhatkali crowd in Muscat got full worth of Samiullah's presence in Muscat who for the second time in a span of eight days entertained them to the hilt. The event was held on Sept 8.

The popular Navayati poet sang three new songs - Ya Allah Tu Khair Kar, Ya Moji Chadwe Zaapu Ya and one on Muscat Eid Milan. The event was also graced by Moulana Maqbool Kobatte and Moulana Ansar Madani. Among Samiullah's old poems which he rendered were Ye Wa Ye Wa, Khatm Kar Moula, Jawani Jawana Azad Khaili.

Aftab H. Kola, senior vice-president of BMJ-Muscat, who presided over the programme, also spoke. Moulana Maqbool outlined the 50 years of Jamia Islamia. Moulana Ansar Madani offered dua. Qamar Merchant, General Secretary, BMJ-Muscat, welcomed. Syed Shakeel also sang a nazm. About 275 people attended the event. Dinner was served at the beginning of the programme.
