Samiullah Barmawar enthrals audience at Mangalore Konkani Kavita Conference

Mangalore - Renowned Naity poet and singer Mr Samiullah Barmawar enthralled the audience with his melodious voice and heart touching poetry at a special session organized for poets by Konkani Sahitya Academy, Mangalore. This program was conducted as a part of ongoing World Konkani Cultural Convention which began on 25th November 2010.

Mr Samiullah was specially invited for this program from Bhatkal. He proved his presence by singing one of his beautiful songs which is very much appreciated by the audience. Later it was translated into Konkani language on public demand.

It may be interesting to note that, as a part of this World Konkani Conference, a special Nawaity Show called "Nawayath Day" will be observed on 9th December at 5:00 pm in which one hour slot is allotted to demonstrate the Nawayath Culture and Civilization. Bhatkal Nawayath Mehfil has requested all the people to attend the program in large number. Those who are interested to attend this program can avail transportation facility from Noor Masjid on 9th December at 9:00 am.
