Bhatkal: Salar Daily, one of the leading Urdu news papers in India interviewed the Bhatkallys.com Chairman Mr Mohsin Shabandari. The article dated 24th Oct 2013 of Salar Daily, praised the efforts of Bhatkallys Chairman for improving the name and fame of Bhatkal and countering the defamation campaign of Bhatal town created by some elements of media.
Answering to questions raised by Salar correspondent, Mr. Mohsin said that the website began with the intention of keeping the Nawayati language alive among youth of Bhatkal. On this occasion, the Bhatkallys Chairman presented some facts relating to Bhatkallys.com after which we can estimate the reader's appreciation and love for Bhatkallys.com despite the negative propaganda created by some elements of media to malign the name and fame of Bhatkal.
Narrating an incident of a village in London which has sizeable number of Muslim population, Bhatkallys Chairman Mohsin Shabandari said that due to some reason there were tensions in the village. Some one told them to listen to lectures in audio section of Bhatkallys.com after which they made CDs of audio lectures and distributed it throughout the village. These audio lectures had such an affect on them that they left their mutual hostility and began to live in peace and harmony.
Mr Mohsin said that few years ago, world famous media organization BBC once referred Bhatkallys.com's link for issues related to Hajj. "I get letters and emails from people throughout the world thanking me, some say that listening to audio lectures available at Bhatkallys.com helped them to become more pious," he added.
