Sagar: 20 cylinders explode in a horrific accident after truck carrying LPG cylinders topple; driver burnt alive

Shivamoga 15 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) In an unfortunate turn of events, a truck carrying Indane Gas Agency's LPG cylinders exploded within fraction of seconds after toppling as a result of driver losing control over the wheels at Madigahalla village of Shivamogga dist, burning the driver alive here in the early hours of Thursday 15 November. The truck went in to flames as about 20 LPG cylinders exploded immediately after the truck toppled as a result of which the drive was burnt alive, however the identification of the driver was not confirmed till Thursday afternoon. Sources said that the mishap occurred when the driver lost control over the vehicle, which turned into an horrible sight for the locals and passerby. After the explosion, fire brigade and police personnel rushed to the spot and cleared the road for vehicular movement. A case has been registered at Sagar Rural police station.
