RV Deshpande discusses various problems of Bhatkal with officials

Bhatkal 29 January 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) Revenue minister RV Deshpande on Monday after attending a private program, discussed about the problems on the petitions filed by the people earlier, here at tourism edifice of Bhatkal. As the Athikramana Horataghara Samiti had earlier sent a memorandum regarding harassment of forest officials on the people for not even letting to repair their house, Deshpande ordered the officials to let the people to repair their houses in encroached land. “Revenue generated from tourism in Murdeshwar is growing day by day by letting shops for tender near beach area. But this must not disrupt fishing activities in the region. Most of the shops have occupied the parking spots of most of the fishing boats at Murdeshwar. I will ensure no such activities will be done in future” he added. Minister RV Deshpande also discussed about other issues of the taluk on the petitions filed by the locals here. In the meeting the members of Mankuli Rastriya Heddari Horata Samiti submitted a memorandum to RV Deshpande stating, “The National Highway and the drainage system near the Mankuli region is being constructed with a height. Due to this the Mankuli region will be flooded during rainy season. Though we have brought the matter under the notice of the responsible department no actions have been initiated yet. And the Expansion of National Highway leads to destruct temple near Mankuli. The memorandum added the minister to take necessary steps regarding the issue.” On this occasion ZP President Jayashree Moger, Ex MLA Mankal Vaidya, Ex MLA JD Naik, Vittal Naik, Tanzeem officials, Satish Kumar, Nagaraj Naik, Parameshwar Naik, Shrinivas Padiyaar, Shankar Shetty and others were present in the meeting.
