Royal Cricket Trophy - 2012 Unveiled

Bhatkal - 31 Dec 2011: The trophy of Royal Cup - 2012 was unveiled at a glittering ceremony which was held here at Public Chabutra yesterday night. The program commenced with the recitation of Quran by Abdul Hai followed by its translation in Urdu by Arqam Ruknuddin.Mr Hisham welcomed the gathering and introduced the guests. Mr Abdul Rab briefly presented the activities of Royal Sports Center. Later the Trophy was unveiled by Mr M Narayan by raising the curtain from the trophy.

Abdurrahman Mohtesham (Jaan), President - Jamatul Muslimeen Bhatkal presided over the function. In his presidential address he commended the efforts of Royal Club for their social and welfare activities since from many years.

Chief Guest of the function, Bhatkal DySP M Narayana in his address said, 'This is such a wonderful trophy, I have never seen before.'

Mr Yonus Kazia - President of BMJ Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, Mr Shiva Prakash - CPI Bhatkal, Inayatullah Shabandri - President TMC, Parvez Kasimji - President of Majlis Islah-o-Tanzeem, Mr Abdul Raqeeb M J - General Secretary Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation were among the others who were present on the stage.

Royal Cup - 2012 is likely to commence from 15th April 2012 at Al-Hilal Mountain Ground, Magdoom Colony, Bhatkal. It may be interesting to note that, Royal Sports Center has won last 3 major tournaments played at Mountain Ground.

Mr Arqam proposed vote of thanks. Mr Hisham & Migdad compeered the program.
