Rotary Dialysis Centre observes 2nd anniversary

May 29, 2014 | Correspondent | Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: On the occasion of completion of two years of Rotary Dialysis Center at Government Hospital, Rotary Club of Bhatkal celebrated the center's 2nd anniversary. A press conference was organized by Rotary Club to present two-year report on the center's activities. Presenting details on the report, it was announced that 2554 patients benefited from the facility that included patients that were successfully treated, patients undergoing dialysis, and patients that came from other dialysis centers. At the press conference, Dr. Gourish, Rajesh Naik, Shakir Diagnomed, Ansar Kola, Nazeer Kashimji and others were present. It may be noted that two years ago, Rotary Club of Bhatkal established Rotary Dialysis Center at Government Hospital to commemorate its 25 years of community service in Bhatkal. The facility was established under the Arogya Raksha Samiti, an initiative of the Govt. of Karnataka. Under this scheme NGOs partner with local govt. hospitals to setup and provide medical facilities for specialized treatments not available in the town. – ARF
