Rotary Club organizes Mouth cancer detection camp at New English School

23 April 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News For diagnosing Throat Cancer and to provide more information on it a free medical camp was held on 21st April 2013 at New English School Bhatkal. This program was organized by Rotary Club Bhatkal, Dr Keerty Shetty and Dental Surgeons Bhatkal in association with Parshuram Sports Club, Friends Sports Club, Ruvail Sports Club Bhatkal and IDA UK. Around 40 people were diagnosed from 9 am till 3:30 pm and ten were indicated on the probable existence of mouth cancer. There were around 17 doctors present in the camp and they advised people to stay away from Gutka and similar items and suggested various precautionary measures.
