Road at Bhatkal Kargadde, Goodluck Road is badly dilapidated after UGD work

Bhatkal: 15 June 2021 (Bhtakallys News Bureau) People from Bhatkal JaliPattan Panchayat Constituency's Goodluck Road, KHB Colony, and Kargadde organized a protest earlier this year, pointing out numerous problems in UGD's work. And they requested that the work be stopped, which they were unable to do. The residents here are now dealing with a new dilemma as the monsoon season approaches.
Due to the non-laying of the paved road after digging the roads for UGD here, the entire road has been filled with mud once again. The video has gone viral on social media, with residents accusing the administration of malfeasance and demanding action. When the head of the panchayat was approached about this, he told Bhatkallys.com that the contractor that completed the UGD work has also agreed to fix the road after the rains.
The panchayat official, however, did not reply to a request for prompt action. On the one hand, mud deposition is generating a lot of problems for the people in many regions of Bhatkal following UGD work, and on the other hand, potholes in the middle of the roads from several places are generating a lot of problems for the people on these wet days owing to non-re-accuracy of roads. It will be unsafe for school buses to pass via these roads with their children now that schools are scheduled to begin on these wet days. In light of this, the public has requested that the administration act in this direction and find a solution as soon as possible.
