Road accident near Venkatapur; 1 Injured

Bhatkal – A youth identified as Mohammed Dawood (22) from Shirali’s Ali Miyan colony had a miraculous escape when his bike rammed into lorry while trying to overtake at national highway near Venkatapur today around 9:30 pm. According to the sources, he was returning home from Bhatkal when this accident occurred while trying to overtake a lorry. He escaped with minor injuries as he jumped from his bike at the right time. He is admitted at  Bhatkal Govt Hospital for treatment. It may be recalled that, few days back 2 youths from Shirur died when their bike hit lorry on national highway near Muglihonda.
