Road accident near Tengingundi cross; Bike rider injured

Bhatkal - 08 July 2012: Bike rider indentified as Ahmed (32) from Moosa Nagar was critically injured as a result of collision between Bolero car and a bike here at National highway near Tenginguding cross, Bhatkal. According to the sources, the Bolero car knocked down bike rider at around 4:00 pm and escaped from the scene. The injured has been rushed to Bhatkal Govt Hospital and later shifted to Manipal Hospital.

A case has been registered in Bhatkal police station and the investigation is going on.
