Road accident near Tengingundi Cross; 2 injured

Bhatkal - 14 August 2011: Two people injured as a result of collision between Tata Sumo and Splendor Bike near Tengingundi Cross, NH-17 Bhatkal at around 6:45 pm. The injured have been identified as Krishnaiah Subraiah Naik and Mahadeva Narayana Naik and were taken to Bhatkal Govt Hospital for treatment. A case has been registered at Bhatkal Police Station.

According to the sources, the tourists traveling by car were from Bangalore and heading to Udupi after having brief stay at Murdeshwar.
