Road accident kills one in Kumta

Kumta 25 January 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) One person died in a road accident between a bike and a Tata ace mini truck that happened near Mururu of Kumta Taluka here on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Eshwar Gowda from Madagibail of Kumta taluk. The incident took place when Eshwar on his bike was heading towards Kumta from Mururur, the tata ace which came from the opposite direction rammed into his bike. Owing to the serious head injuries, Eshwar died on the spot, and his body was then shifted to government hospital of Kumta for post-mortem. Eshwar is said to be an employee of Survey department. A case has been registered at Kumta police station. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
