Rithesh Bhatkal in Karnataka's 16-man Vijay Hazare Trophy squad

Bhatkallys News Bureau/ Ismail Zaorez Bhatkal 06 Feb 2018: Rithesh of Asadullah Sports Centre, popularly known as Rithesh Bhatkal in the cricketing circles of Karnataka has made his way into the 16-man squad of Karnataka team that is scheduled to play the Vijay Hazare Trophy from Feb 07 to 16 2018. A typical classy top-order batsman with extra-ordinary clean hitting abilities with complete command over his game, Rithesh had also been selected as the Ranji Probables in the previous season. Rithesh plays for Asadullah Sports Club in Bhatkal and has vast experience of playing cricket for different clubs and levels across the state. He came to the fore in the cricket circles with some stellar performances at the Alvas college and went on to play for different clubs. Vijay Hazare 50 over tournament has its own significance at the professional cricket at the National level, as scouts and selectors count on these tournaments to hunt some young and emerging talents, India Cricket Team has seen many top-class players coming out from these tournaments.
