Revision of Voters list begins in Uttara Kannada district

Karwar/Bhatkal: The revision of Voters list in Uttara Kannada district is on and will continue till November 29, Imkongla Jamir, Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada said. Those who would like to apply for inclusion or removal of the names from the Voters list can do so till November 29. The Deputy Commissioner said that those who will complete 18 years in the month of January 2014 can also apply for inclusion of their names in the Voters list.
She said that special campaigns will run on 3rd, 11th and 17th Nov to collect applications. 56 new polling booths have been built in the district taking the total number of polling booths in the district to 1423, she added.
