Revenue officials halt construction work on encroached land in Bhatkal

Bhatkal 5 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Acting on the orders of Bhatkal Tahsildar V N Bhadkar, the Revenue officials on Sunday seized a construction site on encroached land here at Yalvadi Kavooru Gram panchayat limits of Bhatkal Taluka. As per sources, on Survey no.221 of the area a service station was being constructed here which is an encroached land as per the records. However, as the information was brought to the revenue officials, on the orders of Tahsildar VN Bhadkar seized the construction site on the encroached land. The officials also warned to take legal actions if any attempts of resuming the construction were to be noticed. Revenue Inspector Metri and others were present during the operation.
