Revenue and Skill Development Minister RV Deshpande inaugurates 'Kumta Vaibhava'

Kumta 22 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) “The Kumta Vaibhava has laid a platform to encourage and enhance the skills of Artists, such talents have to be encouraged” said the Revenue and Skill Development Minister RV Deshpande after inaugurating ‘Kumta Vaibhava’ organized by Tandava Kalanikethana Bengaluru and Vaibhava Samiti Kumta here at the Manaki Ground in Kumta on 21 November. In his address, Deshpande added, “our land is rich in art and culture. The Yakshagana, Suggi Kunita and others are the pride of this place. Encouraging these arts by organizing such events by the samiti is really appreciable” Kumta MLA Dinakar Shetty while speaking at the event said “It is a moment of pride for us. Every program that has been organized in this Manaki ground has been a grand success. What we had begun as ‘Kumta Habba’ has now grown up as a bigger tree called ‘Kumta Vaibhava’ he added. During the program Army lieutenant Karnal Panduranga M Naik, International body builder Rajesh Madival, JD Bhat Kekkara who had succeeded in the field of Art were felicitated by Ex MLA Rudrappa Lamani. The program was welcomed by Kumta Vaibhava Samiti President Shivanada Hegde Kadatoka and was later concluded by MG Bhat. After the inaugural program, various cultural programs were organized. Famous singer of film industry Vijay Prakash and Anuradha Bhat entertained the audience with their melodious songs. Jilla Panchayat President Jayashree Moger, Ex-MLA of Karwar Satish Sail, JDS taluka president Honappa naik, Advocate Satish Bhat Ulagere, Bhatkal Ex-MLA Mankal Vaidya, Kumta Taluka Panchayat President Smt.
