Residents of Muglihonda and Nawayat Colony demands Highway bypass

Bhatkal – 14 Jan 2013: Residents of Nawayat Colony and Muglihonda area of Bhatkal today visited Tanzeem office and demanded the highway to be bypassed and moved out of the town.
Speaking on this occasion, representatives of this area said, ‘We are residing here since 40 years and if the proposed 4-lane highway is not bypassed and moved out of the town, we will lose our houses and we will not be in a position to buy new houses due to rising inflation.’
They demanded Tanzeem to put pressure on Govt to either for its bypass or to reduce the width from 60 meter to 45 as per Goa and Kerala states.
