'Reporters should write true stories without any discrimination' - Ramanath

Bhatkal - 11 July 2011: 'News reporters are very important part of society, they should discharge their duties with extreme care and write only true stories without any discrimination' these were the word of Mr Ramanath, Principal Shri Pradyananda Ashram P U College, Shirali. He was addressing the News Reporters on the occasion of 'Journalism Day' organized by Bhatkal Taluka Working Journalist Association here at Pradyananada Ashram premises. Media is a public voice, therefore media persons should always support people and try to eliminate evils from the society by writing true stories without any discrimination against religion and caste, he added.

The program was presided over by Mr Rahavendra Hebbar, President Bhatkal Taluka Working Journalist Association. Mr Raza Manvi, Association Genera Secretary, delivered the welcome speech and introduced the guests. Mr Sateesh Kumar, District Committee member, compered the program.

On this occasion several speakers including Mr Ravi Hegde (District Reporter, Sirsi Vijay Dinesh Newspaper), Mr Mohan Devadiga (Vice-president Shirali Gram Panchayath), Mr H S Ganga, Mr Radha Krishna Bhat etc have also interacted with the audience.
