Popular battle royale game, PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds (PUBG), has announced that it's partnering with Reliance Jio for the launch of PUBG Lite in India. The game-maker earlier last week announced the launch of the beta version of the game that's optimised for running on low-cost entry-level PCs. PUBG LITE, a free-to-play game is compatible with lower-end computers, with optimised gameplay and graphics to ensure a more inclusive and wider gaming experience. However, to play the game, users also need a good internet connection. For this, PUBG LITE has partnered with Jio to enhance "the user experience on the new version of the game and make it even more engaging for players." The partnership is exclusive to the Indian market, and as per the two companies, "marks the coming together of two iconic and loved brands that complement each other’s vision to deliver new-age digital experiences to its users." With the partnership in place, Jio users who register for PUBG LITE will be extended exclusive rewards by way of free skins for their ingame merchandise.

Step 1: To enjoy this unique experience on PUBG LITE, Jio users can visit https://gamesarena.jio.com and fill up a simple 2-step registration form. Step 3: Once the verification is complete, the user will receive another mail with unique redemption code which can be claimed within the game.

How to use the redemption code:

PC Requirements

PUBG Lite is the company's attempt to make the game more accessible to PC gamers. Tencent Games' light version of PUBG PC brings with it optimisations for low-end hardware. This makes the game easy on resources. As for the minimum requirements for playing PUBG Lite, the lighter version of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds can be played on any PC or laptop which offers minimum specifications such as Windows 7, 8 or 10 OS, 4GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, an Intel Core i3 processor and Intel HD Graphics 4000.
