Mysuru: A lot of debate has occurred over the dalit Chief Minister issue in the state. However, laying all speculations and apprehensions to rest, incumbent CM Siddaramaiah, merely a day after the polling said that he was ready to make away for a Dalit CM in the state. Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, the CM said that if the high command expresses its wish to have a Dalit CM in place, then he is ready to make way. "It is all left up to the high command," he clarified. However, he also said that he is in no mood to contest in any polls in the future. "The Congress will win more than 120 seats and with this, I will bid good bye to electoral polls. I will not contest even if God asks me to. I was determined to make this announcement this time but, if I had said that I would not contest in the polls as CM earlier, it would have made way for many negative statements," he said adding that he will be in active politics only giving his suggestions and guidance.
