BENGALURU: The Karnataka High Court has asked the authorities to be more careful next year so that instances like of errors in the re-evaluation of second PUC results and delay in furnishing photocopies of answer-scripts to students are not repeated. Disposing of a PIL filed by city-based Rajarajeshwari Akshaya Trust, a division bench headed by acting chief justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee opined that sufficient time gap of 5-10 days should be there for students to avail remedies of revaluation/re-totaling or take up supplementary exam. The bench, however, declined to order re-examination for those who missed the supplementary exams because of delay in supplying of photocopies of answer scripts of the 2014-15 examination. The petitioner trust's counsel claimed the photocopies of answer scripts were given one day after the supplementary examination commenced.
