Rare shrimp found in Murdeshwar

Bhatkal - 08 July 2011: A rare shrimp was found in fishing net here in Bhatkal taluk's Murdeshwar Sea. This shrimp whose body texture and form was entirely different from the normal ones is called 'Har Chetli' in local language. It was weighing around 2 Kg and was 1 feet long. It may be noted that, this kind of prawns are found in some parts of India, Australia and Japan.
