Ram Sene holds protest by blocking NH-17

Bhatkal - 02 July 2011: Bhatkal unit of Rama Sene today held a protest by blocking NH-17 here in Bhatkal and demanded immediate arrest of murderers of Late Timapa Naik. When the traffic was badly affected due to this blockade, police took strong action against the protesters and detained around 10 activists while several fled the scene fearing arrest.

It may be noted that, last month also Bhatkal unit of Rama sene had registered strong protest by blocking the highway and warned the Govt, if the murderers are not arrested, they will hold similar protest on 2nd day of every month.
