Bhatkal 04 September 2016: Acting on complaints from Police department against Rama Sena Bhatkal unit President Jayanth Naik, Deputy commissioner SS Nakul exiled Jayanth Naik from Karwar district for a period of three months. This means Naik will be barred to enter the district until early December. Following this development, Murdeshwar Police has taken him out from the district and he has been dropped off near Hubli District borders.
Jayanth Naik a resident of Murdeshwar and present president of Hindutva organization Ram Sena’s Bhatkal unit, was reportedly been arrested several times for disturbing peace of the town, but he was lucky enough to come out on bail every time
This action from DC comes after several complaints from police department demanding an action against him, for hurting the peaceful environment of the town.
