Rahul Gandhi to tour Udupi and Mangalore in March

"Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be touring Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district as a part of upcoming Assembly Election Campaign in the month of March", said U.B. Venkatesh, (general secretary of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee & in-charge of Dakshina Kannada) to media personnel on Wednesday. Rahul Gandhi would tour the districts in the special bus which was used in the campaign in Hyderabad-Karnataka region recently. The tour would last for four days but the dates are not finalised yet. The party aims at winning all eight assemblies in both the districts, said Venkatesh. The party will highlight its development works in the state under the leadership of CM Siddaramiah. The party would continue to give a stable government in the state, Venkatesh added. A meeting will be called on February 17 to decide the list of candidates under the leadership of Prasanna Kumar and Huchappa between 11.00 am to 3.00 pm, and the list will be sent to KPCC office.
