Rabita Society writes to IRB officials urging them to remove speed breakers at Shiroor Tollgate to ease Ambulances' journey

Bhatkal 3 March 2020: The Rabita Society has written to the IRB officials urging them to remove the speed breakers at the Shiroor Toll Gate adding that it was causing inconveniences to Ambulances plying patients to Udupi and Dakshina Kannada Districts. The letter written by Rabita Society on behalf of Ambulance drivers asserted that due to the speed breakers, the ambulances shifting patients to medical hubs like Udupi and Mangaluru were facing inconveniences as it would hamper with the speed of the ambulances while also causing disturbances to the patients in critical health situation. The letter requested the IRB Manager to remove the speed breakers for the smooth journey of Ambulances so that it can ease the journey of patients on Ambulances.
