Rabita Society to award meritorious students on 23rd August

15 Aug 2013 / Staff Reporter / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Like previous years, this year too Rabita Society Bhatkal will organize an award ceremony for meritorious students to encourage them and uplift their spirits. In this function, students from Muslim managed institutions scoring 90% and above will be awarded with gold and cash. This year, this function will be organized on Friday 23rd August Insha Allaah after Asr prayers at Anjuman grounds. In this function, Dr. Shakeel Qasmi Sahib, an Urdu Expert will attend as the Cheif Guest. Apart from him, Qamar-ul-Islam (Minister - municipality and local bodies and enterprises, Minister for minority affairs and auqaf), S.M. Syed Khalil-ur-Rahman (President, Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal), Bhatkal MLA Mankal Vaidya, Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner V.R.P. Manohar and ASP Bhatkal Sudhir Kumar Reddy will attend as honorary guests. This function will also see participation from members and workers of various associations in Gulf. On this occasion, Rabita Society Bhatkal have requested various associations in India and abroad to send documents of meritorious students from their cities to Rabita Society Bhatkal. They have also requested the parents of these students to approach the respective associations in their cities with related documents and ensure that they are sent across to Rabita Society Bhatkal.
