Rabita Society Members Meet Government officials

Bhatkallys News/ Rizwan Gangavali: 25 July 2016, Bhatkal: Ahead of the‘Clean Bhatkal’ and ‘Road Safety’ campaigns kick off under the banner of Rabita Society Bhatkal and Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem Bhatkal which will begin from August 2016, Proposed Plans, and demonstration were put on before the Government officials to brief them about the campaigns and its motives. Ideas too were exchanged between government officials and the organizers of the campaigns. Assistant Commissioner Bhatkal, Chadanand Vatera, CPI Bhatkal Police, Suresh Naik were also present. Mohinudeen Ruknuddin, Gen. Secy, Rabita Society Bhatkal, explained in details to the officials about the key areas of the project. A brief introduction of the project was also done by Inayathullah Shabandri. Convener of the project,  Jailaani Shabandri, Gen. secy, Majlis-e-Islah wa Tanzeem, Altaaf Kharuri, and other social workers along with key NRIs of the town were present at the event. It is to be noted that, 'Rabita Road safety Drive', which has been planned at a time when the rate of road mishaps in town is alarmingly high, is expected to play a vital role in bringing down those statistics by creating awareness among the youths of the town, whereas the Clean Bhatkal project is planned, to take a step towards cleaning the surroundings of the town. Wherein, some areas will be given special attention where the people have been complaining of problems caused by the wastes and garbage.
