Puttur: Retired ASI body found hanging in forest

Zaorez Shabab Puttur 21 Nov 2017: Body of Sheshappa Poojary, a retired Assistant Sub-Inspector of Puttur town, was found hanging in Balleri protected forest region at Meginapanja on Nov 21 Tuesday. Suicide has been suspected initially, but the reason for Sheshappa ending his life has not yet been ascertained. Shashappa was living in a rented home at Parladka locality along with his wife and two sons, and had left home on 20 Nov 2017 to visit his ancestral home in Kunjoorupanja. His body was found hanging to the Dhoti he was wearing, on Tuesday morning in the protected forest area of Balleri Forest region.
