Public furious on fraudulent woman in Bhatkal who committed fraud worth crores of rupees

20th June 2013 / Rizwan Gangavaly / Bhatkallys News Bhatkal: Bhatkal Police registered a case against a fraudulent woman who deceived many women by collecting money from them citing various reasons and then later proved treacherous. According to an FIR registered in Bhatkal police station, a woman used to collect money and gold from several women promising them profit on it. For a few months they received profit from her, but, after having not received any profit from her since past 7-8 months, when one lady approached her, she was badly mistreated and also denied any money. When this news reached other women, they all gathered at her residence near Bombay Bazar on Bhatkal Main road and also called the police along with them requesting them to take action against her. The policemen were a bit hesitant in the beginning to register the case for want of evidence, but till evening they registered two cases against her. As per locals, the deceitful woman was able to commit such a big fraud as she has co-operation from various big-shots.
