Prompt action by lifeguards at Gokarna beach saves another life

Gokarna 22 March 2019: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Life guards at Kudle beach of Gokarna saved one person from drowning who was washed away by a huge tide here on Thursday evening. Rahuljit (22), a resident of Assam along with his four friends had come to Gokarna for picnicking. However, a huge tide washed away Rahuljit while he was swimming in the waters at the beach. Lifeguards, who noticed his calls for help, swung into action and rescued him and brought him back to the shore safely. Lifeguards Nityanand Harikant and Sanjiv Hosakotta were involved in this rescue operation. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
