Prominent Qari from Egypt visits Jamia Islamia Bhatkal

Bhatkal 11 November 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) Abdul Nasir Harak a prominent Qari of Egypt visited Bhatkal on Saturday at Jamia Islamia Bhatkal, as a chief guest at the Qirat competition organised by Jamia Islamia Bhatkal. Qari Abdul Nasir, also recited few verses of holy Quran, for the delight of hundreds of people gathered at the Jamia Islamia campus here. Several alumni of Jamia Islamia Bhatkal, Prominent Bhatkal Qaris Anees Baddu and Hammad Pillor also recited Quran on the occasion, along with Qari Mohammed Shoaib of Hyderabad. Principal Jamia Islamia, Moulana Maqbol Kobatte, thanked the guests who came in from different parts of the world, and added that as much as reading Quran is a good deed, listening to Quran is also a good deed. Qari Abdul Nasir, who is among one of the best Qaris of Egypt was in India as a part of his world tour, to which Jamia Islami responded and hosted him here in Bhatkal. He has visited over 150 countries of the world so far and has made a reputation of himself with the reciting skills of holy Quran. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
