Prominent Kannada writer B. A. Sanadi dies at age 86

Kumta 31 March 2019:(Bhatkallys News Bureau) Eminent Kannada poet Dr. B A Sanadi passed away on Sunday morning at his residence near Herevatta region of Kumta Taluka at the age of 86 years. The mortal remains of the prominent poet has been be taken to his native for funeral. Baba Saheb Ahmed Saheb Sanadi, born on 18th August 1933 at Shindalli village of Belagavi district was known for poetry, story writing, translations, play writing and other literary work. His popular works include ‘Akasha Kirana’, Nelasampige, Taj Mahalu, Himagiriya Madilalli, Namma Prithi and other 18 poetry compilation. He has also published ‘Thristy world’ an English Poetry. He has received several awards including Karnataka Sahitya Aademy Award, Kavyananda Puraskara Award, Shreshta Horanada Kannadiga Award, Kannada Rajyotsava Awards, S.N.Bhoosanuramata Award, Goruru Sahitya Award, Gurunarayana Award and others. He has been also been honourd with doctorate at Karnatak University Dharwad. (Bhatkallys News Bureau)
