Probationary officer KC Gowtham takes charge as the new Dy.SP of Bhatkal sub-division

Bhatkal 11 February 2020: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) KC Gowtham took charge as the new Dy.SP of Bhatkal sub-division on Tuesday here at Bhatkal Town Police Station. Gowtham is an officer on probation and was earlier serving as the Dy.SP of Chikkaballapur before being posted as the new Dy.SP of Bhatkal sub-division. ASP Nikhil who had taken the charge as the Assistant SP of Bhatkal sub-division about four months ago had handed over the charge to Dy.SP Aravind Kalgujji temporarily before Gowtham took charge of the post. Speaking to the media reporters after taking the charge, Gowtham asserted that he was eager to understand the region and law and order situation in his sub-division and pledged to visit all the police stations under his jurisdiction at the earliest. He also added that he will administer the police department in the sub-division with a motive to help people of the region and assist people who are seeking any assistance from the department.
