President Droupadi Murmu arrives at Karwar naval base

Karwar: 28 December,2025 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) President Droupadi Murmu arrived at the Kadamba Naval Base in Karwar, where she was received by the Governor and state ministers.

On her arrival, the President was welcomed by Karnataka Governor Thawarchand Gehlot and Minister for Fisheries, Ports and Inland Water Transport and Uttara Kannada district in-charge minister Mankal S. Vaidya.

Belagavi divisional commissioner Jayanti and Uttara Kannada deputy commissioner K. Lakshmipriya were also present on the occasion. Senior police officials, including ADGP Hithendra, IGP Amit Singh and district superintendent of police Deepan M. N., were present.

Rear Admiral Vikram Menon of the Karwar Naval Base, along with other senior Indian Navy officers, also attended the reception.
