Preparations for Rabita Education Award in full swing

Bhatkal - 13 July 2011: Maulana Mehmood Asad Madani, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and Dr Manzoor Alam, Chairman, Institute of Objective Studies, New Delhi, will grace the Rabita Education Award 2011 which is slated for July 15 at 4:45 pm at Islamia Anglo Urdu High School, Bhatkal. Syed Mustafa Rafai Nadwi, prominent Islamic scholar and SM Syed Khaleel-ur-Rahman, President, Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, will attend the function. According to SJ Syed Hashim, Secretary-general, Rabita Society, 'preparations are underway and we hope to conduct a successful function like every year.'

It may be noted that, Rabita Society rewards Bhatkalli students, who had secured top positions in their respective Schools and Colleges' final exams in Bhatkal and outside Bhatkal including Gulf countries.

Lanka Abdullah, President, Rabita Society, will preside over the function.
