Process of Sanction of Pre-Matric Scholarship

1. The Directorate of Minorities has decided to have only one Format for Pre-Matric Scholarship distribution. All selected students need to fill the " Pre-Matric Account Opening Format Form " and submit to the nearest Syndicate Bank for opening " Zero Balance - NO Frill Account ".

2. The Sanctioned Scholarship Amount will then be transferred ONLINE to that account only. Kindly read the complete procedure given below.

3. In the Block wise list of selected students, a new column "PRE-MATRIC PERMANENT ID" has been allotted to each student. Students / parents / HMs are requested to make a note of this ID for future reference.

Dear Students / School HMs / Principals

The Directorate of Minorities is pleased to announce the sanction of Pre-Matric Scholarship to the selected students by ONLINE Transfer. In order to make the process of disbursement of Scholarship Secure, Safe and Speedy, a simple process has been set up.

We request you to kindly read all the steps given below before you take any action. For any queries, kindly call 080-22863617.

Step1

The List of selected students BLOCK WISE & SCHOOL WISE is published on this website. The School HM / Principal must download the list and check the Names of students of their school who have been sanctioned the scholarship.

Step2

The School HM / Principal must then download the Pre-Matric Account Opening Format (Click here to download) and fill the details. For one student, one form must be used. The details to be filled here must be the details which are published in the sanctioned students list.

Step3

After affixing photograph & signing the application form (By) Student / Parent / Guardian, the Account Opening form is submitted to the School HM / Principal. No additional documents are required.

Step4

The School HM / Principal puts his/her Seal and Signature and then the Form is counter signed by the Block Educational Officer. Then the school Head Master is required to submit the application forms to the nearest Syndicate Bank or to the Officer designated by the Syndicate Bank at Block Level. (List of the Officers is displayed on the website)

Step5

The Syndicate Bank opens the account instantly under No-Frills (Zero balance). No need for the student to pay any amount to open the account. The Scholarship amount is then credited to the Beneficiary's Account Online in 8
