Power supply disruption in Bhatkal, Honnavar on March 11 and 12

Bhatkal: The HESCOM Honnavar division has informed consumers in Honnavar and Bhatkal taluks that there will be a temporary power disruption due to maintenance work on the Honnavar–Bhatkal 110 kV power line.

According to the press release, urgent replacement of jumpers will be carried out at four locations along the line as advised by the hotline authorities. As a result, power supply will be interrupted in areas under the jurisdiction of Honnavar and Bhatkal taluks on March 11 and March 12, 2026.

The outage will occur between 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm on both days, as per information provided by KPTCL.

Consumers have been requested to cooperate during the maintenance work.
