Police nab another accused in Affan Jabali murder case; manhunt on for three more accused

Mangaluru: 26, October.2019 (Bhatkallys News Service)  Police on late Friday night nabbed another man in Mangaluru in connection with Affan Jabali murder case of Bhatkal. The arrest was jointly made by Mangaluru Police and a team of Bhatkal Police which is camped in Mangaluru in connection with the case. The arrested accused has been identified as Musharaf. This is the third arrest made by the investigating team including the arrest of Iqbal, the main accused in the case who was arrested from the crime scene immediately after Affan’s murder on October 19, in a private hotel room in Bhatkal. Investigation team, supervised by Bhatkal Assistant Superintendent of Police Nikhil B is now looking for three more accused who are believed to be holed up in Mangaluru. A police team from Bhatkal is stationed in Mangaluru to nab the remaining three accused. Musharaf was expected to be produced before a magistrate in Mangaluru on Saturday. “There were six accused in the murder case we have nabbed three of them and the other three will also be in our custody soon” a police source told Bhatkallys.com.
