Police meet with Bhatkal youths on increasing road accidents

Bhatkal - 11 Feb 2012: Since from few days it is noticed in the town that some anti-social elements are creating trouble and trying to disrupt peaceful atmosphere of Bhatkal town. As a part of this activity, miscreants steal the bikes from different houses and dump it on the middle of the highway. Taking serious note of such incidents, Bhatkal police has issued a 'Shoot at sight' order. This was announced by the DySP of Bhatkal, Mr M Narayan while interacting with the youths at a meeting held here at Bhatkal police station yesterday. He said that after studying in depth the incidents which are taking place from few days, it is clear that some anti-social elements are behind this and their motive is to spoil the peace of Bhatkal town. He appealed the youths present over there to co-operate with the police department in identifying the culprits. He also revealed that the police department is doing all possible means to catch the culprits and different teams have been setup for this purpose.
