Police arrest 4 people at Bhatkal Jali beach for selling cannabis

Bhatkal: September 15, 2020 (Bhatkallys News Bureau) After the expose of drug mafia and Kannada film industry nexus in Bangalore, the police crackdown on drug peddlers across the state is getting tougher and in this regard the police department is looking out for drug peddlers at all locations.
In this relation, Bhatkal police arrested four persons while selling cannabis near the popular recreational place Jali in Bhatkal today, and seized 2.5 kg of cannabis, two mobile phones and Rs 5,700 cash from them.
According to the report, one person is said to be a resident of Bhatkal Main Road near Old Bus Stand, another is a resident of Talha Colony, a third is a resident of Jali Devi Nagar and fourth is a resident of Gandhinagar area under Heble Panchayat. These four people are reported to be between 20 and 25 years old.
Police are investigating the matter further.
