PM Modi to visit Mangaluru on April 13: Security beefs up , changes in vehicle parking, movement

Mangaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive at Mangaluru on April 13 as part of the Lok Sabha election campaign. Following which, security has been beefed up in the city. Accordingly, the vehicle parking and traffic system has been changed. Tight security A total of 1472 police officers and constables, inlcuding five SP / DCP, 10 DySP / ACP, 36 Police Inspector, 67 PSI, 147 ASI, 1,207 Head Constable / PC have been deployed for the bandobast. Apart from this, 92 HG, 5 KSRP, 19 CAR and 2 CRPF teams have been called. While a special team has been formed for inspection of the venue, the Mangalore International Airport and the route, the police commissioner said in a statement. Source: Vartha Bharathi
