"People of Bhatkal were fooled in the name of development" says new MLA Sunil Naik

Bhatkal 24 May 2018: (Bhatkallys News Bureau) "Around 80% of the development work in Bhatkal was made up with poor quality materials and has been overwhelmed with corruption. I will work hard to set things right and make Bhatkal righteously developed" quoted MLA Sunil Naik during his office inauguration at the Taluka Panchayath office in Bhatkal.
The newly elected MLA of Bhatkal-Honnavar constituency Sunil Naik inaugurated the legislator's office here at Taluka Panchayat office on Wednesday 23 May 2018.
In his inaugural speech Sunil Naik said "People were fooled in the name of development. The developmental works carried out in Bhatkal had were made up of 80% of poor quality materials." He further added "I will work on this one by one to set the things right".
He further said "Priorities will be given for providing basic facilities like drinking water, electricity, and a proper roads for people." He added.
On this occasion MLA Sunil Naik distributed stitching machines to two women, as part of welfare department's distributing program.
Bhatkal Taluk BJP leader Rajesh Naik, Krishna Naik Arsikeri, Parameshwar Devadiga, LS Naik, Subbraya Naik, Lakshman Naik and others were also present on this occasion.
